Numerical Models Representing the Four-unit Frame and Thin and Thick Rectangular Wings

Models constructed by Dr. Andreas Linderholt at Linnaeus University. This data package contains models and modal results for the Thin Wing, Thick Wing, Fuselage (4-unit Frame), Fuselage with Thin Wing, and Fuselage with Thick Wing. The models have been refined and updated to accurately match the dynamic characteristics of measured experimental data through 3,000 Hz. The files supplied here include MSC Nastran .dat and .bdf files, converted Abaqus .inp files, and .mat MATLAB files containing the natural frequencies, mode shapes, and node coordinates from the Nastran model. The intent with creating and sharing these models is to enable interested persons to conduct structural dynamic research ideas with the Frame and Wing assembly. This could include performing purely virtual analyses with the components, investigating hybrid substructuring assemblies of test and FEM, acquiring accurate rigid body modes to enrich experimental measurements, or anything else applicable. A more detailed description is given in the Read_me.pdf file located in the documentation folder of the package.
